Quantum Scholars is currently working with a great secondary school in Slough who are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This will be a Long-Term role lasting for 1 year initially.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom and make a real impact on students’ learning and development.
What We’re Looking For:

A-Level in English or a related degree (e.g. English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing)

Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service or willing to obtain one)

Availability to start immediately

A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the English department in delivering engaging and effective lessons

Providing one-to-one or small group support to students who need additional help

Assisting with classroom management and administrative tasks

Encouraging student participation and building confidence in literacy and communication skills
