Cover Supervisors – Surrey | Start Date: September 2025

Quantum Scholars are working with a number of mainstream secondary schools across Surrey that are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join their teams from September 2025.

Whether you’re an experienced Cover Supervisor, a recent graduate considering a career in teaching, or someone with relevant experience working with young people – we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task

  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment

  • Providing support where necessary and reporting back to teaching staff

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to manage behaviour and engage students effectively

  • Adaptability and confidence in delivering lessons across various subjects

  • Previous experience in a school or youth-based setting is desirable but not essential

Requirements:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK

  • You must already be residing in the UK

  • We are unable to accept applications from candidates who require a Skilled Worker Visa
