SEN Teaching Assistants – Surrey | Start Date: September 2025

Quantum Scholars are proud to be working with a range of mainstream secondary schools across Surrey, who are looking to appoint dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants from September 2025.

Whether you’re experienced in supporting students with special educational needs or looking to take your first step into this rewarding field, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional needs)

  • Assisting teachers in adapting lessons and resources to suit individual needs

  • Supporting pupils in developing social skills, independence, and confidence

  • Working closely with SENCOs, external professionals, and families as part of a holistic support team

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for supporting students with additional needs

  • Empathy, resilience, and a calm, supportive approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Prior experience with SEN is beneficial, but not essential – training and support will be provided

Requirements:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK

  • You must already be residing in the UK

  • We are unable to accept applications from candidates who require a Skilled Worker Visa
