Quantum Scholars are currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science and Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in both Science and Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience).

  • Plan, prepare and assess learning to meet the needs of all students.

  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and support extracurricular activities where appropriate.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge in both Science and Mathematics.

  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred but applications from ECTs are welcome.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development and whole-school contribution.

  • Must be available to start in September 2025
