Quantum Scholars are working with a well-established secondary school in South-West Surrey that is seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2026.

The school is a successful mixed comprehensive catering to students aged 11-16 and has a strong reputation for academic achievement and student development.

They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher who is committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be dedicated to inspiring students and supporting them to achieve their full potential in Science.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and motivating young learners
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their academic goals
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities
