Teacher of Science – Permanent Role
High Wycombe | Start Date: September 2026 | Full-Time

Quantum Scholars are working with a welcoming and highly supportive secondary school in High Wycombe to recruit a passionate Teacher of Science for a permanent, full-time position starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Science teacher who is eager to make a positive impact within a thriving school community.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential. The school is looking for a teacher who demonstrates high professional standards, strong subject knowledge, and confidence in using a variety of teaching and learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
  • Uphold strong behaviour management standards
  • Participate in school meetings, parents’ evenings, and wider school activities

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge across Science disciplines
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for high-quality teaching and learning
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Availability to start in September 2026
  • Full Right to Work in the UK
