Recruitment Process

SO WHAT IS YOUR NEXT MOVE?
Follow these simple steps towards securing your perfect teaching position

STEP 1: REGISTER AND INTERVIEW
Once you have registered an interest in Quantum Scholars and your details look an appropriate match, we will invite you to interview. This initial meeting will give us a greater understanding of your character and teaching experience, as well as understanding more about your personal situation. Using this information, we will begin to formulate a plan as to what will be the most suitably matching schools and location to your character and skill-set. Don’t forget to register for Qualified Teacher Status in the UK: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/qualified-teacher-status-qts#teachers-qualified-in-australia-canada-new-zealand-and-the-usa

STEP 2: PRESENTING OPPORTUNITIES AND SCHOOL INTERVIEW
Once you feel 100% committed to becoming a Quantum Scholar, the fun now begins! You’ll be matched with a school(s) suited to your specific interests and requirements before an interview is organised. This will typically be conducted via video conference and you’ll be provided with full preparation to enable you to get the best out of the interview

STEP 3: ACCEPTING A POSITION AND RELOCATION PHASE

Once a teaching position has been offered and accepted, it is time to start planning your trip to England! During the relocation phase you’ll be assisted through the visa process, provided with guidance on securing accommodation and introduced to new friends who will be relocating to the same region. As a Quantum Scholar you will become part of a close knit group who will all be travelling to England together.

STEP 4: ARRIVAL IN ENGLAND AND CPD TRAINING
One of the most exceptional benefits to being a Quantum Scholar is the in-depth training you’ll receive during the CPD week prior to school starting. The training is delivered by internationally renowned speakers who will help you get to grips with the very latest maths, science and computer science pedagogy. There is also a social event which takes place at the end of the week allowing Quantum Scholars to relax and unwind after training.

STEP 5: START TEACHING IN ENGLAND!

Testimonials

I wanted to get experience teaching internationally, yet stay teaching maths. This program gives me an extra layer of support and opportunity to develop my professional skills that I would not have otherwise had. The service has been wonderful. Quantum Scholars made sure I was well-informed and supported throughout the entire process and communication was easy. This is a great way to take a step and try something new, but feel supported along the way.
