Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working with a well-regarded and progressive secondary school in Oxfordshire, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher on a full-time basis for two terms, starting as soon as possible.

Geography plays a vital role in the school’s vision, helping students develop a strong understanding of the world around them, environmental awareness, and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Geography at Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate

Deliver engaging, enquiry-led lessons that develop geographical skills and global awareness

Plan, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support

Contribute to curriculum development within the Geography department

Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure positive outcomes for all learners

Participate in wider school life, including enrichment and extra-curricular activities where appropriate
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Geography or a related subject

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography education

Experience teaching Geography at KS4 (KS5 desirable)

Effective classroom management and strong interpersonal skills
